A collaborative project from Luke Brancaccio, Gai Baroneand vocalist Kiki Cave, Tokyo Fan Club’s inaugural LP was presented in two parts –the ‘80s and ‘90s dancefloor-inspiredPart 1, followed by the ambient-leaning and soundscape-heavy Part 2 –both of which were mixed by Bedrock founderJohn Digweed.

Rounding out Part 1, Circlespresentedas a blissful slice of electro pop with warming vocals and a flurry of high twinkling synths. Guiding the cut into darker, electronic waters, the acclaimedRomboy deploys a gritty and distorted bassline for his edit, creating a sense of dichotomy against the bright synth elements and soothingvocal chops.

An invaluable figure in electronic music’s continued progression, Marc Romboy’s output has always featured a unique blend of influences, stretching from technoall the way throughto neo-classical. Experience is everything, and Marc absorbsthe energy from his lifelong dedication to produce records that are both highly authentic and equally timeless.
